We’re excited for the upcoming Certification Consultation and Vote in June (details coming shortly) and in order to prepare, we need your feedback on the proposed certification model we are creating for Ontarian CDPs, those who hire and train them, and CDP students.
This 10 minute video provides information on the draft model we are proposing. Please complete the short survey at the end of the video to let us know what you think of each part of the model. The survey will be open until end of day Thursday, May 2nd, 2013.
Once you complete the survey, please spread the word. It is our hope that the certification model meets the needs for Ontarian CDPs and as such we need feedback from as many of you as possible. We will then use this feedback to revise the model, if needed, to present and vote on Monday, June 10th, 2013.

Exactly two years to the day of the first consultation, your elected CDP Certification Stewardship Group is inviting you to attend in person or remotely a Consultation and Vote at George Brown College in Toronto.
Please save the date of Monday, June 10th, 2013, 9am-12pm for our Certification Consultation. The purpose of this morning will be to present a final draft of the proposed Ontario certification model and put this model to a vote. The afternoon will be reserved for anyone who is interested to hear about the Request for Proposals process being used to select an organization to administer the new certification. Before this date, we will collect feedback on the draft certification model released a few weeks ago. We will provide details shortly on how you can give us your input on this draft. Please share this with colleagues that may not be on our subscribers list.

Now that we have a draft model, we are asking for volunteers for assistance in gathering feedback from across the province. Our goal is to reach as many Ontarian career development practitioners and organizations as possible.
